James 3:13–18
Wisdom is as Wisdom Does
Wise people demonstrate wisdom by how they walk, not by how they talk.
One of the signature qualities of wisdom is meekness.
Meekness is not weakness, but gentleness.
Gentleness is strength under control.
What is the meekness of wisdom?
Wisdom does not brag.
Wisdom shows far more than it shares.
Wisdom keeps what it shares under restraint because of the fear of the Lord. (Proverbs 9:10)
Wisdom acknowledges that God is always the room.
Royal protocols demand that you always defer to the sovereign.
Wisdom thinks this: Who am I to say anything when someone wiser than me is present?
Wisdom’s first priority is to obey, not to say.
Wise people watch their words, knowing that God is already watching
